Welcome

Welcome to the United Benefice of St Mary's, Henlow, and St Andrew's, Langford, a benefice of two Anglican Churches situated in East Bedfordshire in the Diocese of St Albans.

Henlow and Langford are two ancient villages located just to the south of Biggleswade in Bedfordshire, alongside the quietly flowing River Ivel. Both villages have a history as farming and, more recently, market gardening communities, although today they are largely commuter villages for London, Stevenage, Bedford and other towns in the surrounding area.

The two parishes, which are Crown appointments, were brought together by Royal Assent in 1997 and each has its own dedicated section on this site — St Mary's, Henlow | St Andrew's, Langford — alongside shared Contact, Diary and Weekly Notices pages.
